Ocean Lifeguard I (Seasonal)

This role involves maintaining surveillance over the city's beach from an assigned station or patrolling in a vehicle to protect life, prevent accidents, and enforce city ordinances. The position requires performing aquatic and medical rescues, operating specialized lifesaving equipment, and conducting search and recovery operations in the ocean and waterways. The incumbent is also responsible for interpreting and enforcing applicable codes, maintaining safety equipment, and preparing clear and concise records and reports.
