The Operator II position assists the Chief Operator at the Carrizo water treatment plant, well fields, and treated water delivery system in delivering potable water to customers at the required rate based on demand. The role ensures the delivery system meets or exceeds Safe Drinking Water Act standards enforced by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. The operator is responsible for observing plant processes, performing daily inspections, and maintaining equipment and facilities under the supervision of the Chief Operator.
GBRA’s main functions are providing utility services and operations to communities and customers throughout the Guadalupe River Basin for the benefit of the environment and people.
