Operator

This position involves maintaining control of two 9-ton pressure pour furnaces, including monitoring furnace temperatures and the condition of the refractory in the pouring trough. The operator sets up each production job to pour in automatic mode using PourTech laser pour systems. The role requires obtaining samples of final iron, pouring metal test bars, and ensuring compliance with the company's Quality System. Operators must work around molten metal, use computer controls for inoculation, and follow all safety procedures.
