Optical Engineer

The Optical Engineer will design, develop, and optimise optical and electro‑optical systems for image‑based sensing technology, collaborating with machine learning, computer vision, mechanical and electronics engineers to take designs from concept through to prototyping, characterisation, and field deployment. The role involves hands‑on optical design, tolerancing, simulation, component selection, and integration to ensure high‑quality imaging for real‑time autonomous platforms.
