Optimised Handling Practitioner

This is a newly created, fixed-term role within Adult Social Care in Hull designed to support complex moving and handling risk assessments and plans for adults. The position involves completing Care Act Needs Assessments, ordering assistive equipment, providing specialist advice to care providers, and delivering training to staff and carers. The post holder will work independently at a trusted assessor level while integrating trauma-informed and rights-based practices into their clinical decision-making.
