The Surgical Technologist works intra-operatively under the leadership of the department director and supervision of an RN to prepare and handle supplies and equipment, maintaining a safe and therapeutic surgical environment for patients. This role emphasizes quality of care, professional commitment, teamwork, and safety in accordance with hospital policies. The position requires strong interpersonal skills and a broad professional knowledge to support effective public and customer relations.
