Painter

This position is primarily responsible for applying coats of paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to decorate and protect interior or exterior surfaces, trimmings, drywall, textures, stucco, and fixtures of buildings and other structures. The role involves preparing surfaces by smoothing, filling holes, and removing old paint, as well as selecting and mixing paints to match specified colors. The painter also protects surrounding areas, applies paint using various tools, and may simulate wood grain or other special effects.
