The Parent Support Specialist provides education, support, and training to families of children with Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED) or other disabilities to help them make informed decisions about mental health treatment. This full-time role requires a working understanding of family dynamics and a personal lived experience in raising a child with SED, SUD, or co-occurring mental health diagnoses. The specialist enhances services by encouraging networking and broad-based knowledge for families.
