National Safety Council (NSC) is a U.S.-based nonprofit organization focused on eliminating preventable deaths and injuries at work, on the road, and in homes and communities. NSC provides training and certifications (first aid, CPR, defensive driving), safety consulting and workplace programs, plus research, data, and public education resources. The council also advocates for safety-focused policies and standards and partners with businesses, governments, and communities to implement evidence-based prevention strategies. Organizations and individuals rely on NSC for practical tools, training, and advocacy to improve safety performance and save lives.
