About this role
Under the direction of an RN, this role provides one-to-one companionship and observation for hospitalized patients to ensure their safety and comfort. The position requires remaining with assigned patients for the duration of the assignment and fostering positive relationships with patients, families, and clinical staff. The companion supports basic patient needs and assists with non-clinical aspects of care while reporting observations to nursing staff.
