Payroll Specialist

The Payroll Specialist owns full-service payroll operations for a K–12 charter school, managing end-to-end payroll administration in ADP, general ledger and accounts payable work in QuickBooks, and all reporting and reconciliation with the Massachusetts Teachers' Retirement System. This senior individual-contributor role serves as the technical authority on payroll compliance and partners with the Business Office and HR on budget, audit, and year-end close. The position requires operating with minimal oversight to handle processing, compliance, and reconciliation for approximately 240 staff members.
