The BC Forest Safety Council (BCFSC) is a non‑profit organization focused on improving workplace health and safety across British Columbia’s forest sector — its tagline is “Safety is good business.” It develops and delivers practical safety programs, training and certification, auditing and incident‑reporting tools, safety alerts and resources for employers, contractors and workers. The Council works with industry, Indigenous communities, regulators and insurers to embed best practices on‑site and reduce injuries and fatalities. Its services combine hands‑on support, research and accessible learning to help businesses make safety an integral part of operations.
