Peer Advocate

The Peer Advocate provides peer support services to clients with serious mental illness or substance abuse, functioning as a role model and consumer advocate under the supervision of the Clinic Director. This role involves assisting clients in outpatient and inpatient settings to regain independence and master their recovery process through engagement, crisis intervention, and the use of recovery resources. The position requires active participation in treatment teams to facilitate successful transitions and support clients in developing and implementing recovery plans.
