Peer Advocate

The Peer Advocate provides peer support services to clients with serious mental illness and substance abuse, functioning as a role model and consumer advocate within residential settings. This role involves assisting clients in developing recovery and crisis plans, providing psycho-education, and facilitating successful transitions out of active treatment. The position requires maintaining accurate case records and advocating for clients to help them regain independence and mastery over their recovery process.
