Peer Advocate

The Peer Advocate provides peer support services to clients with serious mental illness or substance abuse, functioning as a role model and consumer advocate within the FLACRA team. This role involves assisting clients in developing recovery and crisis plans, providing psycho-education, and facilitating successful transitions in and out of treatment. The position requires maintaining accurate records, advocating for clients, and collaborating with the treatment team to support client independence and recovery.
