Peer Generalist

The Peer Generalist supports the Peer Navigation program by providing site-based, community-based, and flexible interventions for individuals who have experienced acute distress, repeated hospitalizations, or ineffective traditional care. Using a peer-led, person-first, trauma-informed approach, the role focuses on addressing immediate needs, building trust, and strengthening social networks to support long-term recovery. The position involves systemic advocacy, crisis de-escalation, resource connection, and empowering participants to navigate systems independently.
