The Peer Specialist provides direct input from a consumer perspective to transform community services and serves as a role model for recovery and coping skills. This position involves offering individualized case management, linking individuals to medical and community resources, and facilitating peer group support to promote personal growth and problem-solving. The role requires engaging with individuals facing mental health, addiction, or behavioral challenges to foster hope and understanding of their life experiences.
