Peer Specialist

The Peer Specialist provides support services and acts as a consumer advocate for adult clients experiencing severe and persistent mental illness. This role involves serving as a liaison with community resources, providing education and crisis intervention under clinical supervision, and collaborating with the team to promote client self-determination and recovery. The position also includes mentoring clients, combating stigma, and ensuring the protection of client rights.
