The Peer Recovery Support Specialist provides non-clinical recovery coaching to patients experiencing mental health and substance use disorders, using lived experience to guide and empower recovery choices. The role connects patients to community resources and the recovery community, supports transitions of care, and collaborates with the clinical treatment team to promote continuity and long-term recovery.
