The role involves providing peer-led support to at‑risk youth aged 12‑25 in the Illawarra region, using personal lived experience of trauma and mental health recovery to mentor and guide young people. Working alongside a Team Leader – Social Workers, the Peer Worker will deliver case work, facilitate individual support, weekend workshops and weekly support groups across high schools in Lake Illawarra and Warrawong.
