Performance and Power Modelling Engineer

Lumai is seeking an engineer to build and own the performance and power modelling framework that predicts how photonic AI hardware will perform against real inference workloads. This role involves designing a Python-based simulation tool to guide architecture and compiler decisions, balancing speed and fidelity to support hardware configurations. The successful candidate will characterise operator workloads, develop power models, and translate findings into actionable technical direction for the team.
