Perfusionist / Senior Perfusionist

The Perfusionist provides routine and specialized patient care services requiring extracorporeal circulation and/or oxygenation under the direction of an attending physician. The role involves the selection, preparation, operation, and monitoring of cardiopulmonary bypass systems and ancillary equipment during cardiac surgery and other circulatory support procedures. Incumbents provide patient support throughout various hospital settings, including operating rooms, intensive care units, and catheterization laboratories.
