Perfusionist

The Perfusionist is responsible for operating mechanical life support systems such as cardiopulmonary bypass and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation, managing heart and lung functions during surgery or respiratory failure. The role includes setting up and monitoring circulatory support equipment, interpreting patient data, and participating in on‑call rotations to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
