About this role

Broadcom's ASIC Products Division is seeking a Physical Design Engineer to join the team and execute implementation tasks for next-generation high-performance networking, AI/ML accelerators, and custom cloud ASICs. The role involves hands-on experience in complex block-level floorplanning, synthesis, Place and Route, clock tree synthesis, timing closure, and signoff across cutting-edge deep sub-micron nodes. The engineer will collaborate with experienced team members to push the boundaries of silicon technology and solve demanding compute and bandwidth challenges.

Responsibilities

Execute block-level floorplanning and placement and route flows
Perform static timing analysis and debug timing paths for closure
Run physical verification checks and resolve signoff violations
