Physical Therapy Assistant

A Physical Therapy Assistant administers physical therapy to patients on an intermittent basis in their place of residence, following physician orders and a plan of care established by a Physical Therapist. The role involves improving or minimizing residual physical disabilities and returning individuals to an optimum level of productivity within their capabilities. The position requires collaboration with healthcare personnel and instructing patients and family members in home programs.
