P-1 AI
The Platform Engineer at P-1 AI owns the infrastructure enabling the AI engineer agent Archie to operate reliably within customer environments, focusing on evolving the BYOC deployment architecture. This role involves tackling complex challenges in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and security to ensure scalable and secure deployment of the AI agent. The position requires close collaboration with product, research, and engineering teams to translate requirements into robust platform capabilities.
P-1 AI is building Archie, an AI engineer agent for the physical world designed to function at the level of a junior mechanical and electrical engineer, with quantitative multiphysics intuition and the ability to use complex engineering tools. The company trains custom AI models using proprietary semi-synthetic training datasets and structured design representations to keep AI models on-task in executing engineering work. P-1 AI is currently working with design partners in data center engineering and expanding to automotive, aerospace & defense, with the goal of placing an Archie on every engineering team at every major industrial company.
