The Fairfield Police Department is seeking applicants who have not completed a CA POST approved police academy to join their team as Police Officer Trainees. This position involves attending a POST Certified Police Academy to gain an overview of the criminal justice system, laws, and police procedures. Upon successful completion of the academy, trainees will be promoted to Police Officer and assigned to an in-house field training program.
