Police Officer

Under general supervision, this role performs a variety of duties for the Canon City Police Department to maintain public order and assist and protect the lives and property of residents, business owners, and visitors. The position involves enforcing federal, state, and municipal laws, patrolling the city, investigating incidents, and apprehending criminal suspects. The officer is responsible for preparing legal paperwork, testifying in court, and providing excellent customer service to the community.
