About this role

BMO Financial Group is seeking a Senior Cloud, AI & Data Security Engineer to design and implement robust security solutions across AWS, Azure, and AI/ML platforms. The role involves establishing governance standards, embedding automated security controls within DevOps practices, and advising senior leadership on emerging risks like adversarial AI and data privacy. Candidates will lead initiatives to secure cloud architectures, manage data protection strategies, and foster a DevSecOps culture within the organization.

Responsibilities

Assess, design, and implement security controls for AWS and Azure cloud platforms
Develop and maintain security patterns for cloud services integrated into CI/CD pipelines
Define and implement security frameworks for AI/ML systems covering the full model lifecycle
Implement data security posture management (DSPM) tools to monitor sensitive data exposure
Advise senior leadership on cybersecurity risks, AI threats, and privacy investment strategies
