Principal Control Systems Engineer

The Principal Control Systems Engineer serves as the technical authority for the Pointing, Acquisition, and Tracking (PAT) control architecture, algorithms, and implementation for Blue Origin's TeraWave satellite communications network. This hands-on leadership role involves defining control strategies, leading trade studies, and integrating PAT systems across optical, mechanical, and avionics disciplines to ensure high-performance link availability and data throughput. The position requires owning the end-to-end PAT control strategy from concept through flight operations while collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.
