About this role

The Principal Engineer, Homologation & Certification leads global regulatory compliance strategy and homologation for CARIAD’s software-defined vehicle platforms. This subject-matter expert role partners with engineering, safety, and VW Group homologation teams to ensure ECU hardware, software, and system integrations meet regulatory requirements for global market launches. The position also drives long-term homologation roadmaps, maintains approval validity across the vehicle lifecycle, and supports export-control compliance processes.
