Principal FPGA Emulation Engineer

Renesas is seeking a Principal FPGA Emulation & Prototyping Engineer to build and own FPGA-based platforms that emulate mixed-signal power ASICs before silicon. The role involves partnering with silicon RTL and DSP architects to validate real-time digital, mixed-signal, and power-control architectures pre-silicon, ensuring functional equivalence and real-time performance. Success is measured by the fidelity and speed of reproducing target silicon for control loop validation and early RTL issue detection.
