Principal Mechanical Engineer

Aescape is seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer to serve as the technical lead for the mechanical engineering domain, owning the mechanical master model and driving system-level integration across the robot. This hands-on role involves leading design, analysis, cost reduction, prototyping, and validation while setting design methodologies and partnering with contract manufacturers to bring designs into production. The position requires close collaboration with electrical, firmware, controls, and operations teams to deliver high-quality hardware for real-world use.
