Mechanical Design Engineer

This role involves owning the mechanical design of a dextrous hand, taking it from initial design through prototyping, testing, and production. The engineer will collaborate with electrical, firmware, and ML teams to ensure the hand functions effectively as part of the whole robot. The position requires making hard tradeoffs in torque density, backdrivability, and durability while working closely with manufacturing partners.
