About this role

AspenTech seeks an experienced Quality Developer to lead functional and non-functional testing for cloud-native industrial software solutions deployed on hyperscalers and on-premises nodes. This role involves collaborating with development and product teams to drive best practices through manual and automated testing strategies. The successful candidate will serve as a technical authority, shaping automation initiatives and mentoring team members within a scaled Agile organization.

Responsibilities

Create and execute manual and automated tests including performance and stress testing
Drive and shape the test automation strategy across API, UI, and integration layers
Serve as a technical authority for automated testing and guide design decisions
Collaborate with developers and product management to refine user stories and acceptance criteria
Maintain test environments, installations, upgrades, and configurations in accordance with specifications

Skills

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering8-12 years of experience in software development or testing
