As a Principal Software Quality Engineer at AspenTech, you will lead automation and performance engineering initiatives for advanced AI solutions within an Agile and SAFe environment. You will collaborate cross-functionally to embed quality practices across the software lifecycle, acting as a thought leader for test strategies and performance optimization in distributed and cloud-native systems. This role focuses on establishing robust validation approaches for AI-powered models, integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, and driving continuous improvement in product reliability.

Responsibilities

Architect and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Python, Java, or TypeScript
Drive automation across web, API, and backend services using Cypress and Playwright
Lead adoption of AI-assisted testing and model-based testing strategies
Design and implement performance test suites for cloud-native applications
Mentor engineers to foster a culture of built-in quality and engineering excellence
