About this role

The Principal Technical Product Manager for Machine Deployment at Caterpillar is responsible for defining and executing the strategy, roadmap, and operational execution needed to build, validate, deploy, and deliver machines to proving grounds and customer sites. The role owns the end‑to‑end deployment lifecycle, coordinating cross‑functional teams across engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and operations to ensure machines are delivered safely, on schedule, and ready for program objectives.

Responsibilities

Create and prioritize the Machine Deployment backlog
Own and maintain the integrated master schedule from procurement to delivery
Coordinate procurement, material availability, and supplier readiness
Lead acceptance testing, validation, and deployment readiness reviews
Communicate deployment schedules, milestones, risks, and updates to stakeholders
