Prior Authorization Specialist

Under the direction of the Manager, Prior Authorization Services, this role performs clerical duties to obtain insurance prior authorizations for chemotherapy and other services. The position involves monitoring work queues, contacting insurance companies, and documenting authorization details in EPIC to ensure timely treatment. The role also requires communicating changes in regulatory guidelines and collaborating with pharmacy and clinical staff.
