Probation Officer

This position is responsible for interviewing, conducting investigations, and making sentencing recommendations for offenders cited into Lakewood Municipal Court. The role involves tracking and monitoring offenders' court-ordered terms, managing a high caseload of adult or juvenile cases, and intervening in crisis situations while referring individuals to appropriate resources. The officer works closely with the Prosecutor's Office and testifies in court as necessary to support the judicial process.
