About this role

The Process Engineering Intern supports manufacturing, maintenance, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives within the Houston, TX specialty chemicals manufacturing facility. This role provides hands-on experience in a production environment by leading projects that improve equipment reliability, operational efficiency, safety, product quality, and data-driven decision making. The intern will collaborate with production, maintenance, quality, engineering, and EHS teams to identify opportunities, implement solutions, and deliver sustainable improvements that support plant performance and business objectives.

Responsibilities

Support Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety and operational efficiency
Analyze production and maintenance data to identify trends and drive sustainable operational improvements
Develop and maintain technical documentation including SOPs, work instructions, and process flow diagrams

Skills

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
