About this role

Primer seeks a Lead Designer to own the end-to-end design for both digital products and physical school environments. You will bridge the gap between software interfaces and campus experiences, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define visual standards, craft tone, and create intuitive solutions for students, teachers, and families. As the third designer on the team, you will set the creative direction and ensure high-quality execution across all touchpoints.

Responsibilities

Lead design projects from initial research through high-fidelity execution and launch
Develop and maintain cohesive design systems and visual standards
Bridge digital app design with physical campus signage and interior spaces
Run weekly design reviews with non-designer stakeholders to advocate for craft
Refine copy and tone to ensure every product and experience feels intentional

Qualifications

3+ years of product or UI/UX design experienceStrong portfolio demonstrating exceptional polish and cohesive aesthetic
