Production Manager

This role assists the General Manager in planning, organizing, and directing manufacturing operations to ensure the safe and timely production of quality pressure poured steel freight car and locomotive wheels. The position requires a broad understanding of the manufacturing process and supervisory skills to direct a workforce of hourly employees while maintaining quality standards, safety, and cost-effectiveness. The incumbent is responsible for managing manpower, handling employee relations, and developing a competent supervisory staff to drive continuous improvement.
