Public Safety Dispatcher

The Public Safety Dispatcher at the Regional Transportation District responds to emergency and non-emergency calls, gathers accurate information, and dispatches police, security, fire, and EMS resources using CAD systems and other communication tools. The role requires strong verbal and written communication, customer service, and the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to federal transit regulations.
