Public Safety Dispatcher

Under close supervision, this role responds to emergency and non-emergency calls for service, dispatches appropriate law enforcement, fire, and emergency service units, and gathers critical information to ensure the safety of officers and the public. The position involves maintaining records, monitoring patrol unit locations, and performing criminal history checks through the Arizona Criminal Justice Information System. The dispatcher acts as a central communication hub, relaying pertinent information to responders and providing assistance to the public within the scope of authority.
