Public Works Trainee

The City of Burnsville is hiring Public Works Trainees for the Streets and Utilities divisions to perform entry-level and semi-skilled work in the operation, maintenance, and repair of the City’s street and utility systems. This limited-duration, full-time position lasts up to two years and provides training to develop skills necessary for becoming a fully qualified Public Works Maintenance Worker. Trainees will work under the direction of Divisional Superintendents and Crew Leads to support various infrastructure projects and emergency responses.
