This role serves as the ground truth for AI validation by manually coding student simulation transcripts using detailed rubrics. Candidates will participate in calibration sessions, document edge cases, and contribute to validation methodology documentation.

Responsibilities

Manually code student simulation transcripts using detailed rubrics
Participate in calibration sessions to establish inter-rater reliability
Document edge cases and ambiguous scenarios requiring rubric clarification
Calculate inter-rater reliability metrics including Cohen's kappa and ICC
Compare human versus AI ratings to identify systematic differences

Qualifications

Master's degree in Education, Economics, Public Policy, Psychology, Sociology, or CommunicationDoctor of Education (EdD)Experience with qualitative coding frameworksFamiliarity with inter-rater reliability proceduresTraining in qualitative analysis software such as MAXQDA, NVivo, or ATLAS.ti
