About this role

Raytheon Vision Systems is seeking a Quality Engineer to support all programs at the Goleta, CA factory as a member of the Mission Assurance Integrated Product Team. The role involves leading corrective actions, ensuring supplier compliance with quality requirements, and collaborating with engineering teams on program development and verification. Candidates will utilize Six Sigma and Lean practices to drive continuous improvement within the high-tech vision product supply chain.

Responsibilities

Implement Quality Engineering responsibilities within the Mission Assurance Integrated Product Team
Lead corrective action requests and drive continuous improvement using 8D and Six Sigma methodologies
Serve as the primary point of contact to ensure suppliers understand technical quality requirements
Support incoming inspection teams and provide technical guidance to drive supply chain capabilities
Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams on design, test, and verification activities
