Quantitative Risk Analyst

The Quantitative Risk Analyst will sit within Octopus Energy’s Global Energy Markets function, focusing on market risk for power, gas, and certificates across multiple international supply entities. The role is responsible for developing and implementing advanced quantitative models and risk metrics to support the company’s energy trading and risk management strategies. It also involves aggregating country-specific risk positions into a clear group-level view and producing analysis and materials for senior stakeholders, including the Group board. This position contributes directly to managing the risks associated with renewable generation, flexible assets, and customer flexibility in support of Octopus’s Net Zero goals.
