Reading Specialist

The Reading Specialist is responsible for identifying students with the greatest need for reading intervention and working with them to improve specific reading skills. The role involves designing and implementing evidence-based literacy instruction, collaborating with teachers and administrators, and utilizing assessment tools to diagnose and measure student literacy achievement. The specialist also promotes interest in reading and supports the coordination of reading intervention with district curriculum.
