Prisms of Reality
The Regional Teacher Coach leads professional development, classroom coaching, and curriculum integration for the DC, MD area, upskilling educators in best-practice pedagogy to drive transformative learning outcomes through immersive technology. This role involves modeling exemplary lessons, facilitating in-classroom coaching sessions, and leading curriculum integration conversations at the classroom, school, and district levels. The position requires up to 80% local and domestic travel to support teachers and foster a community of practice.
Prisms is the world's first spatial learning platform that uses VR and immersive, first-person experiences to help students learn core math and science concepts. Founded by MIT engineer-turned-educator Anurupa Ganguly, Prisms enables students to discover abstract concepts kinesthetically and connect them to symbolic notation for deeper understanding. The platform is used by teachers across the US to make math and science education more relevant and engaging.
